A sustainable building for a major event
As part of the refurbishment of St. Moritz's local mountain, we took care of a provisional dilapidated outdoor bar on the Corviglia. The new bar's exterior supporting structure forms the letters "WM", which refers to the 2017 World Ski Championships in St. Moritz and is reminiscent of this winter sports event. The architecture embeds the Quattro Bar in the theme of winter sports, with which we play the whole mountain. The space in front of the summit station has clearly gained in quality. Since the first season, the bar has become a popular meeting point in the winter and summer season.
The idea for the bar is part of the masterplan we developed to reposition Corviglia.
