St. Moritz has hosted two Winter Olympics, five World Ski Championships and was the cradle of various winter sports. We took these pioneering achievements as a starting point to develop a masterplan for Corviglia and Piz Nair.

Change of Scenery and a Virtual Monument
The redesign of the stations of the funicular railroad "St. Moritz - Chantarella - Corviglia" resumes the theme of the pioneering achievements in winter sports: The wallpapers are not only decoration, they also tell the story of the major sports events in St. Moritz.
The ibex statue "Guardiaun Grischun", commissioned by the Greek shipowner Stavros Niarchos, has crowned Piz Nair for over 60 years. We honored this landmark and popular photo icon, which is exposed to wind and weather, with a virtual monument. The augmented reality app, developed in collaboration with apelab, provides insights into the unusual and spectacular history of this ibex - from its design and manufacturing to the installation of this massive statue on the 3057-meter peak.
