For SBB, we developed distinctive installations that represent the company’s identity. The eye-catcher is the huge, interactive clock that stands for SBB's innovative capability and reliability. The highlight: every now and then, Switzerland's most punctual clock treats itself to a well-deserved time-out.

A «Time-Out» Means that the Time is Out
At the SBB headquarters in Berne-Wankdorf, we created a number of different installations to bring the SBB brand to life for customers, guests and employees. The visual centerpiece at the main entrance cannot be overlooked: The world's largest station clock, seven meters in diameter, in the famous design by Max Bill. As an SBB symbol, it stands for punctuality, reliability and innovation. But it would not be a Steiner Sarnen Schweiz project if it didn't come with a surprise: every now and then, the clock’s hands and minute markers re-group. Playful, inspiring, unexpected time images amuse the passers-by at these moments. Anyone can design a motif and submit it to SBB via a web app.
Other design elements can be found in the garden, in the entrance areas of both buildings and on all floors, in the restaurant zones and the parking areas.
