Feldschlösschen Brewery

The imposing castle of the Feldschlösschen brewery has been enthroned on the hill above Rheinfelden for over a hundred years. While children search the fairy-tale structure for supposed kings and princesses, the adults, smiling and silent, know very well what is brewing behind these enchanted-looking walls. Golden yellow thirst quenchers and pleasure drinks made from hops, malt, yeast and spring water. In December 2008, we opened part of the new tour within these time-honored walls. On the guided adventure tour through the wonders of the brewery, guests gain a variety of insights into the castle architecture and beer production. A multimedia show tells the story of the Feldschlösschen brand and its founders. In the newly designed castle hall, you realize quickly that Swiss economic history was written here. In another room, the ingredients for brewing beer are presented in a sensual way and become a haptic experience. Of course, the tour ends in a relaxed atmosphere with a deliciously fresh beer.
